Paradise Lost — Book Design & Production

Paradise Lost is a large-scale artist book created for Christian Houge’s retrospective at Bomuldsfabrikken Kunsthall in 2025.
The publication brings together more than two decades of Houge’s exploration of the tension between humankind and the natural world. A dialogue shaped by ritual, vulnerability, environmental change, and the traces we leave behind.

I developed the full concept and design of the book, including visual structure, layout, material selection, and production.
The aim was to create a publication that mirrors the physicality and emotional depth of Houge’s work, inviting slow, deliberate engagement through scale, silence, and spaciousness.
